Two colleagues of our team from METID Politecnico di Milano presented the INSYSTED project at the SEFI Annual Conference on the 14th September 2021 with the title “Pandemic and uncharted new normal: MOOCs, serious games and online learning communities to support hybrid classrooms”. Ada Giannatelli and Alessandra Tomasini highlighted the relevance of the pedagogical framework developed by the INSYSTED project – https://zenodo.org/record/4085237#.YS5FZ477TIU – in the wake of the pandemic. They introduced how the integrated framework of MOOCs, serious games and forum-based online learning communities applied with student-centred approaches could foster soft and digital skills and internationalisation. They explained how, with the aim of maximising the relevance of this approach, we can make it meaningful to the current pandemic and to the uncharted “new normal”.
